Kitchener-Waterloo Nov 2, 2008 – Kitchener -Waterloo has landed one of the world’s most renowned cultural shows, proving the twin cities have truly become an international cultural destination.
During its 2008 world tour, Divine Performing Arts performed over 220 very successful shows in 66 main cities in the world, delighting the hearts of over 600,000 people of all ages and backgrounds.
It graced the world’s most prestigious stages, from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Kodak Theatre, National Theatre in Washington D.C., Palais des Congres de Paris, National Arts Centre in Ottawa, to Sony Centre in Toronto, etc. It has created a miracle in the performing arts industry.

The Critics agree.

China was once known as the “Land of the Divine”, and its people believed their culture to be a gift from the heavens. Virtues were emphasized in daily life and the people devoted themselves to spiritual quest. This gave traditional Chinese culture profound inner meaning. Sadly, this great culture has been destroyed under the Chinese Communist Party’s rule.
Now Divine Performing Arts is working to revive and breathe new life into traditional Chinese culture while providing an experience of sublime beauty. The New York-based non-profit arts group includes hundreds of the world’s foremost classical artists who share the vision of cultural renewal.
Through the universal language of dance and music, Divine Performing Arts weaves wondrous stories of heavenly realms, enchanting dreams, ancient heroic legends and modern-day epics.
With performers that feature the roar of Tang Dynasty drums or the elegant costumes and movements of the ladies of Qing Dynasty’s royal court, the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular brings audiences back in time. In addition, you may witness the colorful and distinctive folk and ethnic dances that allow you to go herding on the Mongolian plains, or immerse yourself amidst spring’s Forsythia blossoms…
With gorgeous pageantry, a dulcet and powerful full orchestra that brings eastern and western instruments together, and state-of-the-art backdrops, the Divine Performing Arts Spectacular is a "can't miss."
